Had an amazing stay at the hotel. Peter was such an amazing person, made us feel welcome from day 1. We stayed 4 nights myself and my partner, with the view of the sea from our bedroom. Breakfast was always of high quality everyday, along with a great service from Peter. Can't fault this hotel for the location, and great service. I would also like to thank the owner for posting an outfit I had left behind..thank you so much for your kindness.
Return trip to this comfortable, well placed and welcoming hotel. Peter is very friendly and helpful. Comfortable, clean, well equipped room. Good breakfast - wide selection of choices. Very well placed for walks around the local area. Definitely return again in the future.

Beautiful and memorable. Location is perfect to walk around and venture into town. If you’re into the antique feel this hotel is your place. Had a warm and welcoming conversation with the owner before our visit. Peter was also very helpful. Nothing was too much for him. 100% recommend
I have to give this hotel 5 stars. The rooms were extremely clean, probably the cleanest I've ever stayed in, which is very important to me. I never got bored of lying in bed and gazing at the beautiful sea view in the morning.The staff running the hotel were absolutely lovely, and we enjoyed a lovely breakfast each morning.
Incredible dual aspect views from Rugged Jack room. Very accommodating host. Had breakfast and dinner, both excellent with ample portions and variety. Very high standard of cleanliness throughout and appreciated bathroom storage. Many unexpected touches including an honesty bar. Two minute walk through the hotel garden to the cliff top railway and Lynton town. Parking is challenging when the hotel is full.
We stayed at the Seawood Hotel last weekend, indeed we were their first guests of the year following closure for the winter break. The service was excellent indeed Peter was extremely attentive to everything he did. We stayed in the Ragged Jack room which has superb views over the bay and the bed there is extremely comfortable. We ate in the hotel for two dinners and the food was first class, especially the catch of the day(sea bass). All in all a fabulous time despite the inclement weather - a strong recommendation
We had the best weekend getaway. Peter, the best hotel manager we have ever come across, made us feel so welcome and both him and Joaquin made this experience unforgettable! The location was perfect, the breakfast was delicious, the hotel was one of the most beautiful buildings in the area, inside and out. The jacuzzi looking towards the sea was such an amazing experience. We will be going back!
